Dear Readers,

Welcome to the latest issue of our magazine, where we continue our mission to celebrate the beauty and diversity of global cultures through fashion and style. This edition is a vibrant tapestry of stories, events, and showcases that highlight the rich cultural heritages shaping the fashion world today.

Our feature story dives into the innovative world of Faux Pax, a modelling agency pushing cultural boundaries and redefining beauty standards. Their commitment to inclusivity and cultural representation sets a new standard in the industry, making them a beacon for aspiring models worldwide.

We had the pleasure of covering the highly anticipated Cultural Style Week, organised by the visionary Candy Ellie Graham. This event was a spectacular display of global fashion, bringing together designers and artists to celebrate cultural diversity. From the colourful “Couture Melange” fashion show in London to the immersive showcases of Uzbek, Uyghur, and Azerbaijani cultures during EID, this week was a testament to the unifying power of style.

Our journey continues with a visit to the “My Cultural Style 2024 Exhibition,” a stunning collection that celebrates personal and cultural identity through fashion. The Ukrainian community’s vibrant “Inaugural Vyshyvaka” Festival also caught our eye, offering a heartwarming glimpse into their traditions and festive spirit.

We couldn’t miss the “Cultural Style Week” at the Mall Wood Green in North London, where the cultural style children’s shows brought joy and excitement to young fashion enthusiasts. Additionally, the elegant Kazakh National

Dresses and the insightful Tajikistan Cultural Presentation provided a deeper appreciation for the sartorial elegance of Central Asia.

A snapshot of some of the many highlights from Cultural Style Week 2023 events in Leeds, in partnership with Ebony Milestone Events; Cape Town, in partnership with the Idwala Lethu Foundation; London in partnership with Cultural Fashion and Arts: and The Hague in the Netherlands, in partnership with DwiBhumi Balinese Dance. Photography by Megan Pugh, Antonina Kyrylenko and Photclub Raw.

We have some highlights from London Fashion Week.

Lastly, I had the honour of travelling to Morocco as a guest of Tanger Fashion Week, organised by the illustrious Hind Joudard. This experience was a revelation, showcasing intricate designs from around the world and leaving an indelible mark on my fashion journey.

As we navigate through these stories, I hope you feel as inspired and enriched as I do by the incredible diversity and creativity that fashion offers. It is through such celebrations that we learn to appreciate and honour the unique cultures that make our world so wonderfully diverse.

Enjoy the issue, and let’s continue to embrace and celebrate cultural diversity through the lens of fashion.

 Warm regards,
